Dr. Lisa Dunham is the President & CEO of Lisa Dunham & Associates, LLC, a management consulting and advisory firm with concentrated expertise in helping small businesses accelerate growth. With over 20 years of industry-specific experience, Lisa has subject matter expertise in industrial and organizational psychology, human resources management, entrepreneurship essentials, customer relations, business development, and executive leadership. Over the years, Lisa has successfully contributed to the growth and development of some of the area’s most prestigious architectural, engineering, and information technology (IT) firms supporting a variety of projects at The Pentagon, Ronald Reagan Building, U.S. Customs, Department of Justice, Department of Veterans Affairs, and the U.S. Army, to name a few.
After a successful tenure supporting multiple firms, Lisa embarked upon a career as an Independent Consultant where she continued to broaden her talents as a senior manager and proposal development professional. During this time, she co-founded a small IT firm where she served as Co-Owner and VP of Business Development. Showcasing her natural ability to grasp the inner workings of the company, Lisa excelled in many areas including project management, contracts, quality assurance, customer relations and accounting. Additionally, she successfully developed winning proposals and secured contracts with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Treasury, City of Alexandria, and Arlington County Government.
Enjoying the flexibility of owning, managing and controlling her destiny, Lisa decided to parlay her skills into a successful career in real estate. With her bubbly and dynamic personality, expert knowledge of the real estate industry, and genuine concern for her clients, Lisa brought her own mixture of laughter and fun to the world of real estate. As one of area’s top real estate professionals, her professional niche ranges from first-time home buyers and sellers to luxury sales and services. Lisa graduated Summa Cum Laude from Capella University and holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Industrial and Organizational (I/O) Psychology, Master of Business Administration (MBA) concentrated in Marketing, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Management. Known for her dedication to higher learning, Lisa is an educator and member of the esteemed faculty at the prestigious Purdue University Global where she teaches an array of courses in the Graduate Psychology program. Courses taught include Organizational Management, Human Resources Management, Organizational Leadership, Workforce Motivation, Ethics and other related courses. Lisa is an active member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).
